Wow! That sure depends on a lot of different factors: where you live , where you work, your clientele, if you work for yourself, if you work on commission or booth rental, how many hours you work, if you specialize in one service (color, cuts,perms) or all of them. I have been in the business for 25+ years. If you want to make the most you can, plan on working long hours and build up your clientele. At first, try and work commission, but once you have a good clientele, go booth rental. Better yet, be the salon owner and have other work for you.How much money do hairdressers earn?
