The hairdresser said the colour would fade by now and it hasnt?

I think i got my hair done sometime in August, non permanent dark brown.. and it has gradually got lighter, however it's now the end of november and the hairdresser said it would have faded by october?


I really want to get blonde highlights, should i not? How can i get the colour out?

Depending on the condition of your hair, non permanent colors may not fade completely from your hair. However, you probably don't have an obvious line of new growth. You should be able to go and get highlights right on top of that old color. You can however try and fade it out a little more by using dish liquid detergent. You can wash it with a it four or five times in the shower... it will help. But remember, it will dry your hair out somewhat, so be sure to treat it afterwords...
