I know people say it should be a percentage, but sometimes the cost of the cut, colour, styling can add up, so how much do you tip personally? I always tip between 拢3 and 拢6 depending on what change I have left.
Am I tight? lolHow much do you tip your hairdresser?
I give 2 dollars or 3 dollarsHow much do you tip your hairdresser?
I dont tip , ps my hair is three foot long
I come from a smaller town in IL and we get to know our stylists and such and usually stick with a good one or leave a bad one. I have a lady that i have known for 5 yrs. SHe is great and has always done me right. I give her $10 extra when i go. Sounds like a ton I know but she is special to me and i always know to include this amount in my budget for my hair stuff. If it is just someone i have went to on the fly and needed something done fast i give a rounded up number to the regular charge, $17 I give $20, and so on. If i like the person maybe even $5. I do the same though when i tip at a resturant. Good service gets more than bad. I think some people do get caught up in the percentage thing but it is a personal choice i think. And dont think of yourself as cheap or not. You can be the judge of the service you receive. I think i am this way because many years back i worked as a maid while going to school. I always did a good job and extra great for those who were polite and kind to me. The tip was just a bonus on top! :O)
$5.00
I don't tip as I am not exactly rolling in money at the moment! I think between 拢3 and 拢6 is good, it's not like that's all the wages they get and a tip is mainly a sign of appreciation for their job, not a way to subsidise their pay check.
lmao no you aint stingy, i only leave 拢1 lol they arent really meant to expect tips, hehe would become hairdresser if there were generous people like you. just think 拢6 is nearly the price of a mans haircut lol :D hope it helped
I tip between 拢3.00-拢5.00, I don't think that's being tight at all,as haircuts are getting to be really expensive.
nothing i shave mine myself.. :)
i tip my hair dresser $5 more
i do tip really well. in dollars if it is a $120 cut, color %26amp; style i will leave a $20 tip. so it is between 15-20%. most of their income is tip-based.
tipping is what keeps people working hard to make you happy- for those who survive upon tipping. if you did not tip them, they might not be as likely to work so hard to please you.
拢5
usually I tip 5 or 6
always a fiver doesn't matter what she's done... even if she did cut my fringe too short today
I give 20% of what ever it cost...I have long hair, get it trimmed , and colored so ...It can get pretty expensive for me. My thing is the hair dresser knows I tip good, so she does the best she can , and takes time doing my hair.
SO my pay off is .....Good looking hair.
20% is what I usually tip. I am a receptionist at a hair salon and spa, and that is what most people do, also (at least at my salon).
well, it depends how good the person does your hair, and i think $5 - $10.
$2, well its a barber. hair cut is 8 bucks, I just give her 10
i never do. they are being paid why should i give them extra. my bill usually comes to 拢45 for a cut which takes about 90 mins, i know the stylist doesn't get to keep all of that money but i can't afford to tip them as well
I always tip at least 20% and yeah id say your cheap...I bet they hate doing your hair. Better watch it they may f your hair up cuz your such a shittaaaay tipper
15$ haircut $2
not really; I give about $4-$5, which would probably be about the same as your 3-6 pounds
me one or two dollars
smile
good luck
I usually pay 拢7 for my haircut and tip 拢1. Thus with 拢2 bus fare it costs me 拢10 total.
no i think thats the usual.
two or three bucks-more if she takes her shirt off during the hair cut
I have never cared about percentages. What matters is, did they give me good service, did they go beyond my expectations and were they pleasant to be around. If all that falls into the picture, I tip. That goes for any other service that has their hand out when you pay the tab; waiter, waitress, etc.
I think tipping is garbage in may respects, basically you are paying an employee something the employer should be paying--fair wage.
No Emma your not tight i think your very generous, i only give mine 拢1 so it must be me who's tight,
15%.
I typically tip $5 no matter what services I have done.
I don't my hair dresser is my sister in law
拢1 or 50p
