Advice please on change of colour -hairdressers?

hi , my nan wants to go lighter shes about a 4.6 and she only uses those wella shaders on her hair but she wants to go lighter to about a 7- . ive tried before with 9% but nothing reallly happened ,so this time im thinking mild bleach bath to get rid of the red semi and then 7.1 with 12% i know it will still be warm ,but i dont want yellow or orange . any other ideas? or do you think ill be ok .my nans hair texture is thick and courseAdvice please on change of colour -hairdressers?
Does your nana have any grey as this will affect the outcome.

You can add a dash of mix like an ash or a cendre to counter act the warmth of the yellow, but you need to fill the grey with her natural base shade or the grey will be too translucent if you are lightening by three shades.

Instead of using a bleach bath tho, I would use p/l with 12% (not on scalp tho) to get rid of the red tones altogether, then use a demi permananet to re-condition her hair after the lightening. Hope Nana likes it!
