What high school courses should a hairdresser take?

i really want to be a hairdresser after highschool but im not sure what courses i should take if i even need any.. please help! What high school courses should a hairdresser take?
Take any classes you like in order to get your diploma. You do not need any special courses in high school to go into this field. What high school courses should a hairdresser take?
For highschool, I would just take whatever you need for your diploma. If there are any classes that deal with business that you can take, that would probably be good. After highschool, I'd take some classes and maybe get an associates degree from a community college in something general, like business or accounting. Maybe someday you'd want to open up your own salon and that info would be helpful to know. I'm not sure what kind of schooling you need for a hairdresser, but it looks like another person already answered that one.
You don't need to take any Classes during high School..When you go to Cosmetology School, They will teach(Or go threw.) Anatomy and Chemistry...They will teach you everything you need to know, during your first weeks of school(which you will be in Class all day for so many weeks.)..All you need to do is get your diploma, enroll in a Cosmetology School which takes up to a year, graduate, and do boards.
You have to take a 2 year college course after you get your diploma. Its alot of work.

just thought of this: look up the website of a local community college and then look up cosmetology programs. See if they are offered. i know My community college offers a link to send you all the info you need about the course. At our school, you have to wear professional attire every day, and it costs a ton of money to get your equipment.
