Ugggh The Hairdresser was Jealous of Me So she Ruined My Hair?

I wanted sidesweep bangs and she only cut a little bit on half my head. Should I just try and cut the bangs myself. I wanted to get out of there so I didn't say anything.


How should I do it?

They're called hairstylist. How self absorbed you must be to think that someone that has paid for all that education %26amp; makes her living doing hair would intentionally mess up your hair but then if you had that attitude with her maybe she did. More likely you don't know how to convey what you wanted to her properly and she did what you said. Since you are just too pretty you must be smart too, figure it out. Oh yes, my hairdresser does that to me all the time. I really wish I wasn't so stunning.





Get real. It's the hairdresser's job to do what you want to your hair, whether you're Aishwarya Rai or Ugly Betty. Has it ever crossed your mind that perhaps you didn't explain it right, or her idea of sidesweep bangs don't quite correspond with your idea?





You obviously know best about your hair, otherwise you wouldn't be so arrogant, so cut your bangs yourself. Or lose the arrogance and ask your hairdresser to style it how you want next time.

If you want something done to your hair, they key to that is communication! .. You obviously didn't give her the most specific instructions you could have, therefor causing you to not get your sideswept bangs, lil lady. get it?





Judging by what you said here, you didn't say anything because you wanted to get out of there. next time try the communication theory ... should work!





Dont cut your own bangs because you will ruin them!

you just need to look for a different salon.





Get a chunk of hair (not too much) and place it the opposite side you want your bands to be. Use a comb to make sure the hair is straight. then cut a straight line. Your bangs should be at about an angle that way.





And don't worry so much, your not that pretty.
wow you wound stuck up... and no, haircutters dont ruin your hair because your ';prettier'; than them. Thats like saying a teacher gives you bad grades because your smart.





if you werent happy with them, you couldve asked her to do something about it. dont do it yourself, it could end up looking bad. go to a different hairdresser, then.
I think you should go to another hairdresser and let them fix the problem for you. Don't try to cut it yourself, I did that and it didn't work out very well :) On the second question, no I haven't had that problem lately.
Maybe you didn't explain exactly what you wanted. Her job is to do what you ask for, if you didn't speak up, she probably thought that is what you wanted.

If she wanted to ruin your hair, she could have done a better then job then not cutting your bangs the right length she could have done worse... maybe you should just grow up and get over yourself
No, I think you guys had a misundertanding or something. Just find another hair stylist and ask her to fix it. Or go back to the same place. Its their job to do it right, so go back and tell them. If not, then do it yourself. I hope I helped (:
WoW where was that at I won't go there but maybe like you cut the back really short then as it comes down make it a little longer

hairdressers always do ther job to ther highest quality cos if they dont they will lose clients...


if your really not happy go back to the salon they will redo your hair...they have 2!

This is a very unfortunate and very real reality for many. That is why it is so important to find a hairdresser with a self esteem as well as integrity in her/his work. Find one you like and stick with her. You should have told her you were unhappy with your new look. I would not go back to her. I have had this experience once. Thankfully, I have two dear friends who are hairdressers and I don't allow anyone else to touch my hair. This as well happened recently to a fried who is a hair dresser she went to get her hair done and the hair dresser cut way too much hair as if she did not realize what she was doing. Then told her Oh well, it is hair , it will grow back. So sad that so many females are so dis empowering of other females.
im not sure if ive come a cross a jealous hairdresser ! LOL i usually go to a gay guy anyway :-) but yes that same thing happened to me i asked for bangs and the person just grabbed a few pieces of hair and clipped away not even trying to style it at all anywho i went home let the hair dry and then i made my bangs look better than what the person did... dont cut your hair when its wet..i dunno the exact explanation of why they do it at salons maybe cause they supossedly know what they are doing but if you cut it when its wet it appears longer than it is and when it dries it will be way shorter than you think!
Hairdresser's are so jealous!


They think just because they are the hairdresser their hair has to be automaticaly better than yours.
