For example: Let's say a parent takes a teenage boy to get his haircut and the teenager tells the hairdresser ';no';, and the hairdresser cuts his hair anyway.....is that against the law?
What if an 18 year old boy's parent's made him get a haircut and he was in the same situation? Would this be legal because the guy is an ADULT and is now at the age where he is free to make his own decisions about his appearance? Is it legal for a hairdresser to cut your hair without YOUR permission?
ummm, i don't think salons go into the law over hair cutting lol. it seems kinda over the top to think of suing someone because of a haircut.
most guys don't even have that long of hair, i'm sure it'll grow back.
and i think if the guy was in the middle of having his hair cut he'd realize it and just walk away.
the parents don't MAKE you get a haircut. the tell the hairdresser to do it. maybe the hairdresser thought the guy was in desperate need of a haricut. Is it legal for a hairdresser to cut your hair without YOUR permission?
Well, the guy's parents told the hairdresser to give him a haircut and so... um ya that would be legal. Now if the hairdresser had just randomly chased the guy down the street screaming for him to stop so she could cut this random guys hair, um yea you could probably get some legal action there!
it is not against the law but you could claim in small claims court for malpractice. i dont know what the rules are for a minor but i guess it could be a gray area. but hairdressers do what parents or guardians tell them to do. however i doubt an 18yr old was brought to the haidressers under duress! or were his parents guarding the door, he wouldnt be held down i presume and would never be seated to allow that to happen.
I doubt that its technically ';illegal'; but im sure you could definately charge the hairdresser for something. and if a guy was 18 and he REALLY didnt want his haircut then he probably wouldnt let his mother take him to the salon in the first place haha
well i guess so. because like you said you didnt give your hairdresser permission to cut your hair -so technically its illegal. But i dnt think that the person will go to jail, maybe just lose its license or sumthn related to that. :))
I'm sorry. There is definitely no law against that... When the guy turns 18, he can do a lot of things legally, but his parents are still his parents and they still do have some power....
if you are 18, you have the option of saying no, and moving out...
personally free room and board, overrules wearing your hair long anyday....
very illegal! but i dont tink its worth making a fuss over
