I have coloured my hair with a blond dye but it has came out a light ginger/orange colour. I am naturally dark. I need to correct my hair colour, i want it a more natural blond looking colour. Any suggestions or recommendations or anything that might be help. ThanksHair colour/dye disaster?????? Girls or hairdressers?
This usually happens when you try to color naturally dark hair blonde. You're actually taking out the pigment and it's hard to do this with Darker hair. It will usually come out orange/yellowish. Talk with your stylist and see if there is something she can do, if not, maybe just go a few shades lighter. Hair colour/dye disaster?????? Girls or hairdressers?
you could get a strawberry blonde dye...it would work well since your hair is now lighter and since you have some orange in it that will bring it out well or you can dry a beautiful deep red....both of those colors would correct this problem....but before you do this, deep condition your hair the day before and then deep condition your hair at least once a week after that in order to keep it healthy....good luck :-D

Any time you use box color and you want to go lighter it will never get anything past 2 shades lighter because the peroxide in box color is usually a 20 volume which will usually only lift one or two shades lighter than your natural. If you want your hair lighter your going to have to bleach it my recommendation is to visut a local salon or why not try a local beauty college
Hair dresser advice:
Don't die it yet, eventully after a few washes the dye will wear off,
Oh and never ever use a light dye on natually dark hair, it can be very disasterous nless you bleach you'r hair first, all i can advise is wear a cap!!
Pls rate as best!
i had this same issue...wat u have to do is get either a booster or wait a while to dye your hair again....dying your hair too many times will weaken your ends and damage your hair....you should have just used bleach(not clorox washing clothes bleach) but a hair bleach....or next time let a professional dye your hair.....but i would recommend to use a booster to bring out the color that you wanted....what you did was either let the dye sit too long or you didnt let i sit long enough...
professional help is needed when going from dark to blond.
this will happen in the salon too, but they will be able to put a toner on to even out the colour and make it wear-able untill the next lightening session. it needs to be done in stages.
try and get your hands on some toner
I did the same thing to my hair and tried to fix it 5 times over a 3 month period, so for the sake of your hair, have a pro do it. I would recommend you go a fraction of a shade darker than you want it, because the lighter color that it is now will lighten your hair over the nex 1-2 months
There is a product out call oops, it's for botched dye jobs. Also to avoid brassy looks my hair dresser told me to use this product when I got blonde streaks. I forget what it's called but it's a shampoo and comes in a silver bottle and the solution itself is purple
buy maxi blonde hair dye at wal-mart. I have dark brown hair and i got my hair really blonde with it.
die it dark brown
I had the same done to my hair and it was a total flop so i died it dark brown
you didnt leave it on long enough, it has to go through staged red orange gold then blone...dont try again for a few weeks
